Remember the Honda Cub? Honda Sells Its 60 millionth of Super Cub! YES, 60,000,000 Honda Cub sold in this planet. Using only 50ccs of power, this is the vehicle that established Honda as a player in the American market. Long before Honda was making cars, they were turning out little scooters and motorcycles which got excellent gas mileage. In some parts of the world, you can still make your way down to the local Honda dealer and buy a Honda 50 new.

Last month, Honda says, the 60 millionth Honda Super Cub rolled off an assembly line and this August will mark the 50th anniversary of launching of Honda Cub series. The Cub isn’t very fast and it isn’t very pretty, but it’s everything you need in basic transportation - cheap, efficient and damn near indestructible. It’ll take as much abuse as you can throw at it…

Porsche Club Malaysia (PCM) together with Ferrari Owner’s Club (FOC), Sepang International Circuit (SIC) and the Force of Nature Aid Foundation (FON) will organise an event called ‘SUPERCAR FOR CHARITY – in aid of Malaysian Floods Victims’ on 24 February 2008 at Sepang International Circuit.

Supercars for Charity aims to raise funds to assist the recent flood victims in the country to rebuild and restore their lives.

The public can contribute and have fun at the same time by paying RM300, RM500 or RM1,000 for a ride in a supercar that will be driven by experienced drivers for a full 3 laps at the Sepang circuit. Other than the supercars rides, there will be an exhibition of supercars, photo sessions, merchandise sales and a special race session of the supercars at the end of the event.
