Scratching your head How To Make More Money from your blog? You probably forgot about your RSS Subscribers / Readers can also generate income for you!

Other than Google Adsense for Feeds allowed you place advertisement in feeds (before or after content) , this simple plugin was another option for you to implement affiliate ads or any html ads content in your WordPress RSS feeds (or burned feeds)

Requires WordPress at least: 2.2 and tested up to: 2.6

Step One - Download and Install Plugin

* Download RSS Footer Plugin, Copy “rss-footer.php” to wp plugins directory of your blog.

* Enable the plugin in your admin panel.
* An options panel will appear under “Settings” / “Options”.

Step Two - RSS Footer Option Settings

Only 3 simple option for you to configure,

a) Enter your html content or affiliate advertisement code in text box.

b) Select “Content Position”, whether you want to display before or after RSS content

c) Other Option, allowed you link back to the blog post with anchor title

You’re Done !

So now go view your RSS feed for the change, if you’re using feedburner may need to ping and see your feed update!

How come my FeedBurner feed doesn’t immediately show the changes?
You should first try to ping FeedBurner, and see if that makes it show up in your feed. If it doesn’t, log in to your FeedBurner account, select the appropriate feed, and click on the “Troubleshootize” tab. Half way down the page you’ll find a “Resync” button, that should make the changes show up almost instantly.

Can I insert more than one line into the RSS footer?
You can throw an entire work of Shakespeare in there, should you want to. I wouldn’t recommend doing that though.

This is a very simple and useful plugin created by Yoast, i had subscribe to some famous blogger RSS Feed like JohnChow.com and i’m curious how they place advertisement in RSS feed and make it look like part of the content. Untill i recently move my blog from MT to WP and found this lovely plugin, WordPress simply rocks!
