
Mozilla has officially launched “Fennec”, the Mobile version of Mozilla Browser, the first release is for OS2008 (”Maemo”) Platform which is there in Nokia N810 Internet tablet.

Fennec releases are provided as .deb packages and can be installed directly to your N810 from the Application Manager. But first, you’ll need to configure your Application Manager to look in the Mozilla repository. That’s easy to do and once you do it, you won’t need to worry about it again. Here is the quick information for setting up the Application Manager:

Distribution: chinook (Note: The chinook builds work on diablo as well.

Hurray! long wait Mozilla for Mobile Browser had finally launch but still no right version for my HTC mobile but i think Fennec will support more mobile device and platform in near future. Also wish there is plugin available to sync my pc based firefox with mobile based fennec.
