Malaysia established Blog Advertising Community ad official launch in Philippines.
Nuffnang Philippines, Inc. is a joint venture partnership between the Nuffnang Group and Outcomm, Inc. to serve targeted rich media advertising in the Philippines blogosphere that target would be mutually beneficial both to the advertisers and members of the blog network.
Outcomm, Inc. is a Philippines leading outdoor advertising company with an established client base, organization and sales force. Outcomm work closely with many global and local brands. It has large format billboards in all major thoroughfares in Metro Manila and large format LED video board on Guadalupe Bridge which has the highest vehicle traffic in the Philippines. Nuffnang have direct sales force dedicated solely to the ad network.
So, what is Nuffnang? Nuffnang is a Jafaikan word which means “real cool/good”. It was a big hype among youngsters in London. From here, Timothy Tiah and Cheo Ming, two London university students decided to launch Asia’s first blog advertising community. It was first launched in Malaysia on February 27, 2007 and in Singapore last April 30, 2007. Since then it became a “really cool” phenomenon in the Malaysian and Singaporean blogosphere. Now, they are bringing it here in the Philippines.
