Facebook had launched it new homepage (login page) come with a new tag line after its new user profile layout!
Previous description to attract user sign up like “Keep up with friends and family,” “Share photos and videos,” “Control privacy online,” and “Reconnect with old classmates.” had removed. The old tagline was “Facebook is a social utility that connects you with the people around you” replaced by a new tag line “Facebook helps you connect and share with the people in your life”
What does the new tag line tell you?
I think they replace “people around you” with “people in your life” is most likely more and more people was using facebook as “getting know new friends” other than “connect real friends in your life”
