Barcamp Malaysia 2008, Geeks Meet Up In Real World !

First Malaysia two days BarCamp simply rock! First of all, thanks to every volunteer and sponsor of our country very first “unconference” Geeks & Tech Meet up. I’m happy that have chance to meet and learn new things from few problogger & geeks in person like Hongkiat, Liewcf, James Yeang, Kay, Daniel, Anthony, Perry Loh & etc.
You probably will be upset cause you miss the interesting BarCamp 2008 but no worries, there is volunteers plan to create more BarCamp at Johor Bahru, Melaka and Penang….. oh ya these place also have lotsa delicious food 
Overall the event was successfully fill with friendly and helpful geeks, bloggers, developer, press and also IT related people. the only “complain” from me will be the wireless / broadband wasn’t available at day one and it also work at snail speed on day two. Maxis 3G signal also very bad which is quite abnormal for a geek event without proper broadband facilities. Other than internet, everything of the rest back in BarCamp do impress me, like new in-video object recognize technology introduce by urekalabs which can help to monetize video on youtube in soon future (watch following video) ! Be frank, i take this as a very good learning and idea exchange platform, wish in soon future i’m also able to contribute like what others did. Sharing is good !
