Blog It brings some of the best social aspects of Facebook to blogging, making it easy to blog from within Facebook and tell people you know all around the web that you’re doing so. It doesn’t matter if you blog using Six Apart products or not; this application support bloggers on Blogger, LiveJournal, Movable Type, Pownce, Tumblr, TypePad, Twitter, Vox, WordPress.com and WordPress.org!
Plus, after you’ve posted using Blog It, you can choose to automatically share your post via Twitter and Pownce, in addition to the Facebook Newsfeed. While a lot of other Facebook applications rely solely on the Newsfeed to share your activity, Blog It is unique in that it helps you tell everyone you know across the web about what you’re creating, not just your Facebook friends.
Why use Blog It?
# Update all your blogs from within the Facebook environment.
# It’s a free Facebook application.
# Blog It is powered by TypePad, one of the best blogging services available.
# Update all your blogs and web services. Blog It supports TypePad, Twitter, Blogger, Livejournal, Movable Type, Wordpress.com, Wordpress.org, and more.
# Increase the number of people who see your posts.
# Keeps your friends on any network informed of your activities.
Ready to try it out? Just add the Blog It application on Facebook and take a minute to setup your blogs. Or if you’re not convinced yet then sit back, break out the pop corn and watch this short movie…

Blog It is cool. My annoyances are:
1) Facebook status updates are “ez wants a cookie”. So I would put “wants a cookie” for the Facebook status. That means Twitter and Pownce get “wants a cookie” for their status update which looks weird. Writing it as “I want a cookie” and look fine for Twitter and Pownce makes Facebook look weird “ez I want a cookie”. Twitter apps have solved this by having the Facebook be “ez is twittering: I want a cookie”.
2) For those using Wordpress installs on a wide variety of hosts, the Blog It application is unable to post to the blogs. This has been going on since April 16th at least. Maybe once I can actually post to my blog this will become more interesting? http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=14103720714&topic=4442
