FTP (File Transfer Protocol) A protocol used to transfer files over a TCP/IP network (Internet, Unix, etc.). For example, after developing the HTML pages for a Web site or your Blog on a local machine, they are typically uploaded to the Web server using FTP.

FireFTP, Make my blogging life and manage multiple domains easier! The interface was simple to use and it works with the award-winning Web browser - FireFox 2.

How do I install FireFTP ?

Step 1 - Download FireFox
First of all, you need Firefox to run FireFTP. It was not created as a standalone program, but as an extension to the Firefox browser.

Step 2 - Download FireFTP
To install FireFTP, go to http://fireftp.mozdev.org and click on the 'Download FireFTP' link on the main page.

Other Tips : I used FireFTP to transfer large files like design artwork & etc. Sometimes upload via email just too troublesome and always disconnect half way. If you use FTP upload, receiver can download via a link from your webserver.
