As i’m upgrading my blog from Blogger to MovableType, i found its really a hassle to move all my previous blog - Trio Concept post from Blogspot to my own domain blog.jerryong.com blogging system MovableType (MT) , thanks for the "Sick Holiday", allowed me to spend sometimes at home blogging & setup this new "Jerry Ong Blog" in few days.
I aware about other blogger user like Jasiminne*the peguin also setup her own domain & upgrade to MT user but facing lots problem like me while learning new MovableType jargon!
Well, let me share few tips & trick here like how to import/export from blogger to MovableType, How to auto redirect your old blog/website address to new address without your user google(search) your new blog address , here you go…………….
Step-By-Step
- Export your Blogger/Blogspot post which detail method can be find in my previous post;
- Thanks to neologasm.org which create the full illustrated video process of converting from Blogger to MovableType, which can be find Here.
(Note: Remember to backup all your blog post & files, create a import folder @ MT folder on your server before you start the last process of import by using MT Platform)
Good Luck & Godspeed …….

Secondly, are you using shared hosting or own server? before installation you MUST check your server whether meet MT minimum requirement or not ! This link will give you more exact information as to the requirements of
Movable Type:
